The Yoga of Touch ~Embodying Love

This class is taught by:

Kelsi Zahl

"For me, teaching yoga is sharing the art of living free - mind, body and spirit.  Guiding people to the edge of their comfort zones and breathing with them in that space is one of my favorite places to be.  I am a bit of an extreme artist, so I like to go all the way into the asanas and see what happens.  I like to dance on the edge of discomfort and find the breath there...this is how I teach."
Kelsi is a Nebraska native who has spent the last 10 years in California and Arizona pursing an acting career and studying Ashtanga yoga.  When Kelsi is not on the mat, she enjoys writing, singing, being in nature, cooking, making things and laughing.
There is nothing that can replace direct human touch.  When we are born, we literally cannot live without it. As we grow, we become attached to objects and activities and neglect the innate need that we all have to be directly felt by another person.  Touch eases our pain on a scientific, emotional and spiritual level as well as builds intimacy, defined by gentleness and kindness, with those that we care for.
Over the years, couples have requested that I hold a class to teach their partners how to massage them.  WELL HERE IT IS!  This class will teach the basic technique to give a great massage to your partner, how to focus your energy into your hands and eyes, and how to hold energetic space for your loved one.  I can't think of a better way to celebrate a date night!
