Off the mat, Beth is a mom of 4 amazing kids. She loves a good adventure and has a bucket list a mile long. She enjoys music, art, literature, good food and drink, time spent in nature, leisurely bike rides, quality time with family and friends, and helping others.
Prenatal Yoga is a six-week series designed to gently strengthen your growing body, increase flexibility, and train your mind and body to work with the breath--preparing you for a healthy and confident pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.
Interwoven into each session is evidence-based information based on Lamaze International's 6 Steps for a Healthy And Safe Birth that will help you feel empowered to make informed choices about your birth. Guided meditations will help you trust your body and connect with your baby. Time will also be dedicated to connecting with each other and talking about your experiences.
Participants will also receive a copy of "Giving Birth with Confidence" by Judith Lothian and Charlotte DeVries.
Beth Day worked for over 13 years as a doula, childbirth educator, and advocate for pregnant and laboring women in NW Arkansas. She has helped hundreds of women along the journey of pregnancy and birth and believes that birth is a normal, healthy part of a woman's life that be not only empowering, but transformative.
