An Evening of Live Gongs & Meditation
Mon, Dec 10, 2018 at 7:15 pm - 8:00 pm
One of the most powerful sound healing instruments, the gong has been used for ritual, meditation, and celebration since antiquity. Currently, the gong plays an integral role in Kundalini yoga, and is also finding its way into a variety of other yoga and meditation practices. It's no wonder gongs resonate with yogis: their fundamental sound is Om. In a live gong bath, the sheer spectrum of intricate and unpredictable harmonics invites participants to let go of mind chatter and enter a meditative state. Powerful vibrations reverberate through the body on a cellular level, releasing stress and tension. Listeners report a range of effects, such as deep relaxation, tingling or floating sensations, pulsating colors or other visions, emotional catharsis, creative inspiration, and even just falling asleep. Results vary widely. For an optimal experience, participants enter the space with an open mind, a relaxed state, and a willingness to surrender to the moment.
Experience the powerful energy from a gong meditation session.
7:15 - 8:00 pm , Limited to 20. Please notify studio if you cannot attend.
$12 Early Bird/$15 at the door. Registration highly recommended. Monthly members receive a 10% discount. This workshop is non-refundable and not valid with any other offer.
